Brighter Futures & Thrive Online present the IKORODU RCIP CUP FINALS DAY #1 After 5 days of classroom based circculum and sports training the finals have arrived and many have come out to support such a fantastic initiative. Mr. Gabba a recently retired sports officer based at Ipakodo School and a very influenical community figure returned to the school to reunite with the cricket coach and to support the event. RCIP stands for REDUCE CRIME INCREASE PARTICIPATION, this intervention in Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria was about educating the youth about the dangers of cybercrime and anti social behaviour with a series of class room interactive discussions followed with cricket or football training preparing them for the finals Topics discussed such as self condidence, sense of purpose, masculinity, social network support, criticial thinking all with the aim to equip the young students of Ipakodo and Majidun school in their personal and social development.
