Students of Government Model College, Ikorodu declare
Less than 4 months ago no school in Ikorodu, Lagos was playing cricket. Since the appointment of Lagos Head Coach, 4 schools are now playing cricket at their school. Ipakodo, Majidun, Government Model College & Oriwu Model Government College and all want to play against one another.
Government Model College sports master has been impressed with the rate of growth since the visit of the Lagos head coach and the school are enjoying playing cricket with a rush of students wanting to join in. In his most recent visit, the head coach decided the time was right to start building a school team with the talent on display and began trials with the eager students. This is what both the students and the sports master had to say afterward.
